Our projects vary in scale from small additions to new homes and also include commercial and industrial developments. All projects regardless of type, will consider the environment and the comfort of the occupants. We work with your site and nature and the people who use our buildings, we consider materials used and advise on sustainable choices.

For new homes we offer 4 packages that allow you to choose the level of service that is right for you.

For other projects we work with your brief and specific project constraints and opportunities to design and detail as required. We add value in our understanding of the approval process and combining all the various elements in a way that achieves a successful outcome for your project.

All projects involve the following stages;

Pre-Design

Preparation of the brief so we are clear on your needs, who will be involved, the budget and timeframes.

Concept Design

Sketches, inspiration & ideas are combined into concept sketches that are worked with until we have an agreed direction for the design.

Design Development

The concept sketches are developed further adding layers of information and detail until the design meets or most often exceeds your brief and is ready for approval.

Development Application (DA)

When we have a final design it is time to pull together all the information required for the lodgement of the DA and associated approvals. We may also recommend a Complying Development Certificate if you meet the legislation requirements, this will mean a single application that will replace the DA and CC process. We assist with the lodgement on the NSW Planning Portal and all correspondence with Council.

Construction Documentation

After DA approval is gained we provide more detailed plans ready for construction and to address any DA conditions and to obtain Construction Certificate Approval (CC).

Construction Phase Services

To ensure design intent is met during construction it is best to engage our services to work with you and the builder during construction until completion.

Schedules of Finishes and Interior Design

We work with interior designers as required or we can assist with preparing schedules of finishes and fittings for all the selections in your home or commercial property.
